Peer Review Process

Arsakara Journal of Community Service (AJCS) insists on a comprehensive double-blind peer review for all submitted manuscripts. In this process, the identities of the authors are concealed to create an anonymous version of the manuscript. This peer review procedure generally includes two phases: an initial editorial review followed by the double-blind peer review.

Editorial Review

At the beginning of the review process, the co-editors from the editorial office assess the submitted manuscripts based on various criteria like adherence to the template, scope, organization, writing quality, uniqueness, author guidelines, and English language proficiency.

This review can lead to one of three possible outcomes:

  • Rejection by the editorial team;
  • Commencement of the peer review process;
  • A request for the authors to modify their manuscripts based on editorial recommendations and resubmit the revised version.
